Santa Rosa, Laguna Celebrates 10th Year as a City

On July 10, 2014, the City of Santa Rosa will commemorate its 10^th year anniversary as a city. As it has been a tradition since the advent of the administration of Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas in 2007, the 10^th of July every year is celebrated with activities that illustrate the transition of the city into a cosmopolitan and modern city in South Luzon.

Needless to say, as their year marks the city’s 10^th year, it is appropriate that the City Government commemorate this year’s celebration to be as memorable as possible that will position the city as among the localities in the Philippines that is vibrant in culture, alive in its tradition and roaring in its economic progress.

Transition is defined as the “change from one state or condition to another” It also means “movement, development or evolution from one form, stage, or style to another.”

Transition is change… it is conversion… it is movement… it is modification. Transition is evolution.

The theme of the 10^th year cityhood celebration focuses on significant milestones the City of Santa Rosa has achieved over the last decade.
